Water is an essential food and basic component of life.
The need for water is strongly ascending and has a diversified function, which is not only important for drinking purposes but is also vital for any developmental activities. Nowadays, the use and sustainability of water are getting more complex due to population growth, urbanization and industrialization. Any development is related either directly or indirectly to water utilization.
For any developmental activity, both surface and groundwater sources are the main components depending on their quality and availability. In an area where surface water is not feasible for the desired activity, groundwater is the second alternative, if it has the anticipated amount and quality.

Therefore, site investigation or exploration, sometimes called a pre-construction evaluation, has to be performed primarily for the effective and sustainable utilization of groundwater resources.
Borehole Siting in Zimbabwe For Borehole Site Locations |
Groundwater has become immensely important for the different water supply purposes in urban and rural areas of both developed and developing countries. However, groundwater exploration in hard rock terrain is a very challenging and difficult task, if the promising groundwater zones are associated with fractured and fissured media. In such an environment, the groundwater potentiality depends mainly on the thickness of the weathered/ fractured layer overlying the basement.
Groundwater can be explored using different methods. The four major groundwater exploration methods are the areal method, surface method, subsurface method and esoteric methods. Among these methods, the esoteric method is not based on science, mostly based on traditional indicators.

Borehole Siting using the Electric Field Frequency Selection:
We use a mapping water detector that is based on the Earth's electromagnetic field as the field source, based on the difference in the conductivity of different underground geological structures, and by studying the variation law of the electric field components at different frequencies to study the geological structure and changes, to find groundwater resources by scientific method.
Changes in the geological structure are displayed in real-time through multiple curves. Automatic form mapping geological profile by one key operate easily, get rid of complicated computer graphics. The site can quickly understand the geological structure through the automatic mapping curve and profile, and analyze specific information such as aquifers, fractures, faults, and caves.
The instrument is widely used in the rapid analysis of geological structure changes in different terrains such as plains, hills, mountains, plateaus, and basins to determine borehole locations, aquifers, and aquifer depth.
What Is Borehole Siting:
Borehole water siting is conducted to show the availability of underground water. The traditional and survey methods are commonly used in deciding the place to drill a borehole. Though dowsing and the use of copper wires can be used in detecting groundwater, we do not endorse it.
We make use of the geophysical survey method when siting underground water for boreholes to be drilled in Zimbabwe
Water Locating:
We help you uncover all your underground water sources with high accuracy. It works well for all borehole water needs for domestic and commercial use.Tracking Sources:
We track all the underground streams feeding into your aquifer. This will enable us to determine the capacity of your water borehole matching it with its intended use.Survey Reporting:
We generate detailed water survey reports with ideal points to drill your borehole showing their depth in metres, water yield and recommendations for the drillers to take note of.Water Systems Zimbabwe is looking forward to your call or WhatsApp Message.
